Inori Aizawa (藍澤祈), is the mascot for Internet Explorer promoted by Microsoft Singapore.
History
The first design of Inori Aizawa called IE-tan version 1 was published by Collateral Damage Studios on Facebook [1] and Tumblr[2] in March 8 2013, as a response to Danny Choo's Facebook post [3] from two days earlier, which featured moe personifications of Safari, Chrome, and Firefox. She was designed by the artist WaHa (Low Zi Rong), and was slated to get Microsoft's attention.
It turned out to be a successful attempt, as a representative from Microsoft Asia-Pacific approached the company at International Cosplay Day in Singapore, and Inori was adopted as Microsoft Singapore's mascot for Internet Explorer. [4]. She was unveiled in a video for Anime Festival Asia 2013. [5]
